Mo-vember @ The Establishment, Sat 29^th Mo-vember

On Saturday 29^th of Mo-vember the Karori Cricket Club was proud to hold its fourth annual “Mo-vember” competition.

The festivities kicked off upstairs at our sponsors, The Establishment, around 10pm – after plenty of Corona’s, Tequila’s, Vino and the like, had been consumed to gain some Dutch courage.

The competition was fierce to say the least, with approx 20 entries ranging from those dressed in Unicorn Shirts to a Kazakhstan beauty, Borat.

The first section was won hands down by Hamish Templeton – this was the “Ginger Mo Section”. Again the competition was tough in this category, but Temps’ pure ginger-ness was always going to prevail. His prize was consuming 2 pints as quickly as possible, which he successfully did to the surprise of many!

The main event, and the title of ‘08/09 Mo-vember Champ’ was fiercely competed to the end, with an arm wrestle between Stephen ‘Stephania’ Murdoch and Fletcher ‘Borat, it’s niiiiice’ Te Aika, being the only way to decide a winner. After an intense arm wrestle, and some dry humping from Borat, Stephania (and his Pink Hair straighteners, AKA MOPSY) was crowned the winner (much to the displease of the Drunken Mexicans who felt robbed again)! Congrats Stephen Murdoch.
