Wednesday May 20, 2009

New Zealand Cricket has announced a group of 27 players to prepare for the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Kenya next February, including Harry Boam and Tom Blundell from Karori Cricket Club

The players will participate in a training camp to be scheduled over the winter, and will also maintain individual training schedules in their own provinces. The World Cup team will be selected following the National Under-19 championship, to be held at Lincoln in December 2009-January 2010.

All 27 players will be candidates for a place in the team for the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, although final selection will not be restricted to this squad.
