Karori Cricket Club… the home of the ultimate cricketing experience in Wellington!

Playing cricket at Karori is a complete experience and we try and cater for all of those ranging in skill from the first class developed player, to the most social and developing player. If you are interested in joining an established, yet dynamic, fresh and welcoming cricket club for the whole family to enjoy, look no further.

Karori Cricket Club has a large number of teams scaling form the largest junior team base in the city to the most social of social teams to the highest levels of Intercity cricket in Wellington. Whether you are a seasoned veteran looking for a social place to play or a talented cricketer wanting an opportunity to play Pearce Cup cricket, you will feel right at home here at Karori.

The Senior Squad which is made up of 25 players out of the top two teams will begin their per season training on the 26 August  from 6.30 pm at the highly sort after Westpac Stadium. All other senior teams will commence their preseason build up at our other training facility from mid September at Karori Park.

Karori Cricket is coming through a very strong resurgence of late. In the most recent 2007/2008 season, our Pearce Cup side won again the  20/20 competition run by Wellington Cricket and finished a close third in the Pearce Cup. Our Senior 2 side narrowly missed out on promotion to the Hazlett Trophy , our 1b(b) team won their grade.  

Our home ground at Karori Park has just come back online after  a substantial upgrade, which will provide five new top quality wicket blocks with a limited amount of encouragement from the soccer fields, new outdoor training nets and substantially larger outfields for all of the wickets blocks.

Our top two teams pre season training will commence from 8.30 pm Tuesday 26 August 2008 at the Westpac Stadium indoor nets.
